As a former Verizon manager, seasoned college administrator and trainer in the Nonviolent Communication™ System of conflict resolution, Pat is an expert in creating an environment where learning thrives and optimal decisions are made---because every voice is heard. For example, while in management at Verizon Pat improved cooperation across multiple teams so customer turn-around time was improved by 50%.

After more than 30 years of management and training experience in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, Pat has created Arcady Mediation to support people who inhibit their potential because they’re stuck in intractable conflict.

There are no imposed or brokered settlements. Rather, each participant is listened to and encouraged to take responsibility for finding a solution that serves everyone.  They take responsibility for helping the other party find a liberating solution as well.
